WBSA 2022 Spring Baseball
by posted 01/15/2022

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP FOR SPRING BASEBALL!

What better way to warm up on a snowy, cold winter day than to sit back with cup of coffee and remember the warmth of the baseball field, the cheers of the fans and the smiles of the players as they play their first game of the season. Join us this Spring on the Wilton Baseball Fields for some fun.

If you have already registered for the Spring teams, thank you.

If you haven't registered yet, registration has opened for the CT Red Tails Spring baseball teams.

Our coaches have years of experience and instruction will be heavily focused on developing player skills and maturing knowledge of the game itself. All players who are currently registered for the summer baseball teams will be placed on the same team in the spring as their summer team.

Please register above for the Spring Travel Team.

The cost of the program for the spring season is $800. You will be asked to submit the first payment of $550 when you register. The remaining payment of $250 will be automatically charged to your credit card on file on February 15, 2022.  A reminder will be sent prior to the balance being charged to your credit card.

Please contact the WBSA at wbsafinancials@gmail.com for further information on individualized payment plans.

Spring Travel Season Specifics:

  • The team will be registered in either the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League for the Spring season or the Fairfield Babe Ruth League, which starts at the end of March and ends the end of May 1.
  • The team will have 2 coaches and will play 2 games per week.
  • Practice will be two times per week concentrating on skills development and position specific work.
  • Players will receive a uniform for the Spring season consisting of a jersey, a hat, and a belt.

Winter Workouts: Conditioning and training, especially arm conditioning, is very important for a player. This year, we are offering a Winter Workout (January to the start of the spring season) for players to keep in condition and to prepare for the Spring and Summer teams. Winter Workouts have already started but if you would like to join the group, please contact thewbsa@gmail.com for information on a prorated cost for the program.

To register, please go to thewbsa.com and click on the Register Now button.
